New Pathways of Protein Homeostasis in ALS

The study is aimed at elucidating a new mechanism of sensing misfolded proteins and regulating their synthesis related to ALS. The outcome could have important implications for understanding protein homeostasis as a common theme of the disease. The findings will not only provide novel insights into the pathogenic mechanisms in ALS but also identify new therapeutic targets for this devastating disease.
