MDA Muscle Walks will include engagement activations including:

  • MDA Let's Play tent, where participants can sign up to join the MDA Let's Play Discord server, design a race bib with the participants Discord username, and learn about future game and movie nights.
  • MDA Support and Programs tent, where participants can learn about the MDA Resource Center, MDA Connect and services while engaging in a trivia game.
  • MDA Community Education tent, where participants can learn more and sign up for programming through five channels that support our community and families.

"We're thrilled to bring the MDA community together through MDA Muscle Walks in cities across the country, and to provide an option for families to engage on their own timeline through the virtual option of ‘Muscle Walk Your Way’. Our mission is to support and connect our families so they are empowered to live longer more independent lives," said Jeremy Kraut-Ordover, Chief Development Officer, MDA.

Throughout 2023, MDA will promote these events on national social media channels @MDAorg using #MuscleWalk #WhyIwalk. Watch the MDA Muscle Walk video here.
