This MDA webinar will discuss individual rights including tenants rights and housing accessibility, MDA Advocacy agenda on independent living and policy updates, how to get involved in advocacy, personal stories and experiences from an MDA community member, skills to help prepare yourself for the challenges of living independently, and maintain a support network.
The featured presenters of this webinar are Shannon Wood, Director of Disability Policy from MDA and Amber Bosselman, Certified Disability Life Coach.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during the live Q&A.
There is no cost to MDA community members or healthcare providers to attend the event, but registration is required.
