“I am excited to share the latest issue of Quest Magazine with in-depth coverage of what matters most to our community including making sure our voices are heard in the upcoming election with resources from the MDA Access the Vote campaign, and a closer look at MDA’s Ambassador program. Eight of our incredible community members who serve as MDA Ambassadors have curated fantastic selections for the Quest Holiday Product Guide as we all gear up to shop for the ones we love. The guide is an incredible resource for the community we serve, with items selected for the neuromuscular community to make everyday life a little easier and enhance our independence,” said Mindy Henderson, Vice President of Disability Outreach and Empowerment, and editor-in-chief of Quest Media.

The new fall issue of Quest Magazine emphasizes the importance of advocating for disability rights and using your voice to influence inclusive legislative change within the government, including resources to access voting in the upcoming election. The issue also features updates on gene therapy treatments, tips to avoid online scams targeting people with disabilities, and suggestions for seniors living with disabilities. There is also a deep dive into the MDA Ambassador program, insights for independent living, and favorite life hacks.

The new Quest Holiday Product Guide is designed to help people find products to give loved ones with disabilities this holiday season, that will help them access a more independent, stylish, fun, and all-around great life. Selected by eight MDA Ambassadors, the combination of the products chosen include items for the home, tech, and travel that feature adaptive and universal design to empower and enhance independence. This guide is an opportunity to find gifts for yourself, or someone else in your life who you want to get a thoughtful gift for. This resource is curated for the Quest Media audience to make life just a little bit easier for our community. The items are recommended by MDA Ambassadors, but MDA does not receive any portion of the proceeds of products featured in the guide.
