The 2024 MDA Clinical & Scientific Conference will explore the latest research and clinical achievements for neuromuscular disease in the era of treatments with key sessions led by top industry professionals including:

"The 2024 MDA Conference brings together the world’s leaders in the field of neuromuscular disease research and care. This includes the MDA Care Center Network team members from over 150 locations nationwide. The sessions will cover a broad range of topics, from advancements in clinical care for neuromuscular conditions, to next gen therapeutics like gene editing. The recent FDA approval of the first CRISPR therapy for Sickle Cell Anemia signals major progress for gene editing technology with implications for the neuromuscular community," said Sharon Hesterlee, PhD, Chief Research Officer, Muscular Dystrophy Association. "The conference will feature leading experts from across the continuum of care, including clinicians, affiliated medical professionals, scientific and clinical researchers, and industry partners. Together we’ll explore new techniques for treating and or managing muscular dystrophy, ALS and related neuromuscular diseases."

Members of the neuromuscular disease community who are registered with MDA are welcome to participate in the virtual conference at no-cost or may register here to attend in-person at the patient/caregiver rate until allotted spaces are filled.
