Register

The decision to pursue gene therapy can be complex. It is important to understand the many variables so that you can make an informed decision on where to go for care. Attendees will learn what questions to ask their provider and how to know if the provider/institution is equipped to safely administer treatment.

The featured speaker for this presentation will be Aravindhan Veerapandiyan, MD (Dr. Panda), Director of the Comprehensive Neuromuscular Program at Arkansas Children's Hospital.

Following Dr. Panda's presentation, attendees will hear from patients and families who have gone through the process of receiving gene therapy. Panelists will share their perspectives and experiences in an effort to help others who are considering treatment.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during the live Q&A.

There is no cost to members of the MDA community or healthcare providers to attend the event, however registration is required.

Not able to attend on September 12? These presentations will be recorded for on-demand viewing. Please continue with registering even if you cannot attend to ensure you receive an email with the link to the recording. The recording will be available approximately 3 weeks after the live program.

Members of industry who are interested in sponsoring or attending should contact the MDA Healthcare Partnerships team at MDAPartners@mdausa.org.

For all other questions, please contact the MDA Resource Center at resourcecenter@mdausa.org or by calling 1-800-572-1717.
