This speaker slide set will provide an overview of myasthenia gravis (MG), including recognizing clinical symptoms, clinical management of the disease and the role of multidisciplinary care to optimize treatment outcomes.
- Recognize clinical symptoms indicative of myasthenia gravis (MG)
- Understand the optimal workflow for diagnosis based upon clinical evaluation, detection of characteristic symptoms and physical findings, a detailed patient history, and a variety of specialized tests
- Determine a disease management plan based on knowledge of currently available therapies as well as best practice guidelines
- Understand the role of multidisciplinary care in optimizing treatment outcomes, including symptomatic and supportive care
- Incorporate recent advances in clinical studies into patient care and provide guidance to patients on the benefits of and opportunities for participation in MG research
