In this webinar, Sheetal Shroff, MBBS, and Ericka Greene, MD, of Houston Methodist Hospital will review critical clues to help healthcare providers spot signs of adult neuromuscular disease and provide referral to a specialist. Panelists will review clinical profiles, pinpoint red flags, and key screening tests to guide examination of suspected NMD. This webinar is intended for a broad audience of healthcare providers who see adult patients, including neurologists, advanced practice providers, and providers in primary care settings.
Recognize symptoms of adult-onset NMDs (e.g., ALS, DM, EDMD, FSHD, LGMD, LOPD, etc.).
Identify appropriate testing modalities to support workup when encountering a patient with suspected NMD.
Confidently refer patients with suspected NMD to specialists.
