This program aims to help attendees integrate genetic testing into care and leverage available testing programs to facilitate access. Topics include test selection, associated pros and cons, interpretation, “no-cost” testing programs and more.

Upon completion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:

● Identify patients with NMD who may benefit from genetic testing.
● Adopt best practices for integrating genetic counseling and testing into care.
● Leverage available genetic testing programs and resources in NMD to increase patient access and support referral to relevant specialists.
