This case study will explore the diagnostic odyssey of delayed diagnosis leading to disease exacerbation in a man with late-onset myasthenia gravis (MG) in patient #3 (57-year-old-male).
- Recognize clinical symptoms indicative of MG
- Understand the optimal workflow for diagnosis based on clinical evaluation, detection of characteristic symptoms and physical findings, a detailed patient history, and a variety of specialized tests
- Diagnose MG with increased skill and confidence, shortening the diagnostic journey of patients with MG
- Understand how to optimize medical management of MG based on best practice guidelines
