This case study will explore early diagnosis and intervention in DMD in patient #2 (17-year-old boy). The focus of this case study is DMD delayed diagnosis, treatment interruption.
- Educate providers (pediatricians, family physicians, general neurologists) about the importance of early intervention in patients with DMD
- The case study will examine two scenarios showing the impact of early treatment on clinical outcomes
- A patient who received standard of care soon after symptom onset
- A patient who faced diagnostic and/or treatment delays
