Activity Overview: 

This webinar featuring Dr. Neelam Goyal, Dr. Clair Spahn, Dr. Gil Wolfe and Dr. Karen Kurdziel, discusses the use of a multidisciplinary team approach to provide the best care to patients with myasthenia gravis (MG). This webinar includes the review of signs and symptoms of MG, best practice guidelines, and available therapies and clinical trial opportunities.

Learning Objectives: 
  • Recognize MG signs and symptoms, and know when to consult with specialists
  • Understand how to manage MG according to best practice guidelines
  • Understand the optimal multidisciplinary team design for MG management
  • Identify facilitating factors and hurdles to building a multidisciplinary care team or importing outside expertise to help manage patients with MG
  • Identify and obtain telemedicine tools that would allow connection with multidisciplinary treatment centers Inform patients of available therapies and clinical trial opportunities
