MDA Research Impact in 2016

We’re taking a big-picture approach to accelerating treatments and cures for muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases.

We know breakthroughs don’t happen overnight and they don’t happen in silos. That’s why our approach to funding research focuses on collaboration, on supporting the world’s best scientists and the emerging scientists of tomorrow, and on projects that make an impact across diseases.

With your support, we’ve committed more than $17 million to new research this year. We’re now supporting 150 research projects worldwide.

*Please note: This map represents research we are supporting in 2016 based on qualifying projects and funds available. Regardless of where the research takes place, we foster collaboration and information sharing among investigators in all locations and proudly serve individuals in every U.S. state and Puerto Rico at MDA Care Centers.
