rollin what you do is you take a paper and read from the paper. Or just talk to the computer like you are writing a journal and keep doing that for like at tleast a week so it can get used to your voice

I wonder if anyone in here could use this trick (so I don't know if I should include it in the list) but it is working great for me! See I have trouble lifting a glass if it is full so instead of attaching a cupholder on the arm of my wheelchair, my wheelchair provider gave me an idea that it is cheaper to get a regular cupholder and stick the holder on the wheelchair lap trày using Velcro so I can have the glass right in front of me and I could drink with a straw and not have to lift the glass. I asked my dad to stick a 1 inch square of the soft part of the Velcro on my tray and a 1 inch square of the rough part under the holder so I can just take the holder off when I don't need it.

bc Almost 2 years ago my doctor changed my insulin and put me on a pen that I have to take at meal times. I also took some diabetes management classes and learned that I need to have juice or regular soda or honey when my sugar went down. I could have a mini candy bar for dessert if I wanted. And I did want it! All I had to do was make sure I did not have too many carbohydrate in my meal. The downside of the pen is too many sticks. My doctor says I am not a great candidate for the pump because I cannot do it myself. Well my argument is: it's not like I punch myself with the pen. But I think my doctor is just an old-fashioned person.

By the way Actually I can have anything at any time but if it is big thing like a milkshake, I would have to take a stick according to the carbohydrate in the milkshake. But I really don't prefer having big in between snacks because I try to maintain my figure. I heard an actress on TV say that having too many big snacks often makes you gain weight so........... but I am not strict........... once in awhile it is okay............
