MDA is pleased to announce its 2014 Clinical Conference to be held March 16-19 at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago.
Planning committee members have developed a comprehensive agenda aimed at bringing together health care professionals who are dedicated to diagnosing and caring for patients with neuromuscular diseases. This 2 ½ -day event provides a platform to share critical updates on the diagnosis and medical, rehabilitative and psychosocial management of neuromuscular disorders, offers multiple opportunities for the exchange of ideas, and promotes an effective team approach with the goal of optimal patient care.

The conference will leverage the expertise of clinicians, clinical researchers and allied health professionals across the various neuromuscular diseases, and will include representation from the clinical and corporate drug development areas.
New for 2014
Four new educational activities have been added to the MDA Clinical Conference for 2014.
All attendees are encouraged to submit abstracts for presentations at the poster session on Monday evening, March 17. Abstracts addressing focus areas for the conference are especially welcome. A limited number of abstracts will be selected for presentation at the following platform sessions:
Trainees, including medical students, residents, fellows and post-docs, will be eligible for a $500 poster prize, which will be awarded to up to five recipients selected from the posters at the conference. Trainees should confirm their status at the time of registration and abstract submission. The deadline to submit an abstract has been extended to February 14, 2014. Trainees must attend the poster session to be eligible for a prize.
